Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 7 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kinjie platform, including our website, applications, and booking services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using Kinjie, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Kinjie
Kinjie connects clients with local service providers. We provide the technology to discover services, manage bookings, and operate provider and agency workflows. Kinjie is a platform; service delivery remains the responsibility of the individual provider or business you book with.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use Kinjie. When you register, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information.
- Keep your login credentials secure and notify us of unauthorised access.
- Accept responsibility for activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to users or the platform.
3. Bookings and cancellations
When you make a booking through Kinjie, you enter into a service arrangement with the relevant provider. Cancellation windows, rescheduling rules, deposits, and no-show policies may vary by provider and are shown at the time of booking where applicable.
Kinjie may facilitate reminders, calendar integration, and no-show reporting, but enforcement of provider-specific policies is primarily between you and the provider.
4. Payments and fees
Payment terms, pricing, and refunds are set by providers unless otherwise stated on the booking flow. Kinjie or its payment partners may process transactions on behalf of providers. You authorise us to charge the payment method you provide for confirmed bookings and applicable platform fees.
5. Provider and agency obligations
If you use Kinjie as a provider or agency, you agree to:
- Maintain accurate service listings, availability, and pricing.
- Honour confirmed bookings or offer reasonable alternatives.
- Comply with applicable licensing, tax, and consumer protection laws.
- Handle client data lawfully and only as needed to deliver booked services.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Harassment, fraud, or impersonation.
- Attempting to bypass security, scrape data, or disrupt the platform.
- Posting unlawful, misleading, or infringing content.
- Using Kinjie for purposes unrelated to booking or operating listed services.
7. Intellectual property
Kinjie and its branding, software, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a licence to host and display it as required to operate the platform.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kinjie is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from services delivered by providers. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to Kinjie in the twelve months before the claim, or €100 if no fees were paid.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Kinjie after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Questions about these Terms may be sent to [email protected].
